2013 Audi A4 B8
Miles: 95,000
Ok, so im nearing the 100,000 mark on my audi, and i have gotten here with not too many repairs.
I tend to do all the basic repairs myself, but im preparing myself to do a head gasket replacement and valve replacement cause i wanted to get these done before they actually fail.
I know a lot of you might talk me out of it, but i have done 95,000 on an "Audi" without issue only cause i do a lot of preventative maintenance.
Having said that, does anyone know when i find any videos or tutorial for these for the 2.0 tfsi?
I do have the repair manual, for specs and stuff, but a walk through would be super!!!

There's some people who have taken their engines apart at that level in the matching forum on audizine; be sure to inquire there too. Other than that, youtube. Particularly HumbleMechanic and ShopDAP and EdgeMotors do a lot of TSI stuff.

Are there any known problems with the head gasket or valves on this engine?

Thank you! Yeah I have gone through almost all of those. I have a fair idea, but since this is my only vehicle, a bit scared to go in without knowing 100%

That's why when I wanted to do chains/tensioners, I let the dealership do it. This is my only vehicle and I couldn't afford for the task to go wrong in any manner. The taxi companies won't even bother coming out this far. I bought all the parts, but it also saved me having to buy all the special tools. And since it's Audi, I had a loaner car while they worked on it. I told them, "I'm mobile, so take all the time you want".
The cylinder head [metal] gasket is not a common problem on this car. The cylinder head cover [sealant] gasket is more likely to initiate seepage. But I've got 197k on mine and no head work has been done. I assume they removed the head (head can be removed without disturbing the cover or the cam shafts) to replace the pistons when that work was done at 84k, but they did not replace the cylinder head gasket (at least they didn't list it with all the other parts that got replaced). I'm sure doing a valve job at this mileage might be beneficial, but I'm not sure what you're hoping to accomplish with valve work at 100k unless you have some issue you are tracing.
Pulling the intake manifold and doing a carbon clean would be prudent, as would be a drain/filter change/fill if you have a ZF and didn't do it in the 60-80k range already. And check your cam shaft adaptation value to get a feel for the chain condition. But I don't know about breaking into the head at 100k unless you have an issue you're trying to resolve.

Wow, that is a lot of good info.
Think ill start with doing a carbon cleanup and go from there.

Replacing the head gasket and doing any work on the head including valves is not needed as a normal maintenance thing. As mentioned this
is not a normal problem area, so just relax.
And it is not simple work, and not for an amateur as I can tell you are. So, just take care of your Audi, and it will run for a long time.
