According to a series of new leaks, 2022’s GTA Online Summer Update has a release date scheduled for later this month.

Rockstar Games revealed last week that the next Grand Theft Auto Multiplayer DLC would be ready to play soon but didn’t provide an exact date.

But fans have been given more information this week from unofficial sources, meaning that everything should be taken with a big pinch of salt until we hear more from Rockstar Games.

New GTA Online Summer Update During July 2022

While Rockstar Games teased that a new patch would drop later this month, Grand Theft Auto insider account, TezFunz, has shared more, claiming that the new GTA Online Summer DLC will be released on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

If the report proves accurate, it means we’re less than two weeks away from the next GTA Online content going live across all platforms. Much of what the new DLC will contain remains under wraps, and Rockstar Games has not released a trailer or any images to confirm what is being planned.

However, Rockstar has revealed that they will be expanding on the existing features of Executive, Biker, Gunrunner, and Nightclub Businesses. A new set of Contact Missions will also be added to the game later this month, presenting the opportunity to be sworn in as a special IAA field operative to investigate a budding criminal conspiracy.

Adding to this, a new leak shared via TezFunz on Twitter claims that more garage slots are going to be added with the new update, alongside two new weapons, new skydiving activities which are connected to a new “skydive” collectable, and something that will happen outside of San Andreas.

This means that gamers will leave the current map to partake in some kind of event being hosted at a different location. No further details have been given, but there is a good chance it will involve Cayo Perico island.
