10 amusing things you HAVE to do at Universal CityWalk™ Orlando

Universal CityWalk™, is most notorious for its dining and entertainment complex adjacent to Universal Studios Orlando. Built in 1997 by Loews Cineplex Entertainment, the CityWalkhas become a popular hotspot for tourists and locals alike, with many dining venues and unique retail experiences. All of this is just a few miles from your Casiola vacation home. No need for long commutes, that give your kids the “are we there yet” anxiety.
Here are 10 things you HAVE to do at Universal CityWalk™ in Orlando, Florida:

1. Enjoy the most unique themed dining in Orlando!

2. Experience unique shopping

Gear up for a day at the parks at the Universal Studios Store. While taking a stroll at Universal CityWalk™ you’ll find everything from theme park souvenirs to high-end goods like Quiet Flight® Surf Shop, and don’t miss the fun photo opportunity right outside the store that makes it look like you’re catching a wave!

3. Visit The Cowfish® Sushi Burger Bar

The Cowfish® is a burger and sushi fusion restaurant. Cowfish’s “cow” burger menu contains unique burger combinations, while the “fish” menu features conventional and specialized sushi rolls. Or, if you can’t decide, make a Burgushi® with a bun or sandwich. This is the place to go if your group is having trouble finding something that everyone loves to eat.

4. Play some mini-golf

Have fun at Hollywood Drive-In Golf™ when you play one or two of the different courses to choose from: The “Haunting of Ghostly Greens” and “Invaders from Planet Putt”, both based on classic horror films. Play all thirty-six holes for a real two-for-one. Enjoy special effects and interactive parts of the courses that provide plenty of lighting to make it a fun and entertaining game during the night!

5. Catch a movie

Take a break from the theme parks and catch a movie in the newly remodeled theaters, Universal Cinemark at Universal CityWalk™. Expanded screens and ultra-comfy plush recliners form the perfect backup plan on rainy days. Secure your seats online.

6. Listen to some live music

7. Get a mouthwatering Voodoo Doughnut

Pick up a beautiful pink box of Voodoo doughnuts and choose from more than 50 of the classic and unique tastes that the creative doughnut shop has to offer! They also have vegan choices like the “ODB Doughnut,” which has been said to be very mouthwatering!

8. Devour a milkshake from The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen

These milkshakes at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen are a must-have treat when taking a stroll down Universal CityWalk, not only because they’re tasty, but also because they make for a fantastic picture that will have everyone wishing they were with you having one! These massive milkshakes come in souvenir cups and are filled with the most sumptuous ingredients. With specialty flavors like Strawberry Cheesecake, Heavenly Hazelnut, and Chocolate X5.

9. Sing away at Citywalk’s Rising Star™ with live karaoke

Rock out to your favorite songs in this rockin’ karaoke experience, which includes backing vocalists and a live band on select evenings. If you’ve ever dreamt of becoming a singer, Rising Star will make that dream come true for one night only!

10. Enjoy some s’mores indoors by BigFire

Cooking over an open fire? Yes, please. Tableside s’mores, perhaps? Yes, please. A vast selection of whiskey and bourbon to choose from? Yes, please. BigFire is the place to go if you want to feel like you’re on a summer vacation all year long, with smoky tastes that remind you of camping and backyard barbecues!

When you stay at one of our vacation homes, you can relax, enjoy a nice home-cooked breakfast, and calmly be on your way to the parks for a day of fun. You’ll be there in minutes. Book a Casiola vacation home today, and be close to all the action that is Universal CityWalk™ and Universal Studios!
