Nike air force 1 tear away white

Update 05.20.20 // After releasing throughout Europe, Nike USA has confirmed the release for the first tear-away Air Force 1 Low Reveal for May 27th. Pairs will be dropping here on SNKRS at 10:00 am ET for $110.

Utilizing the Air Force 1 Mid as the iconic silhouette celebrates its 40th anniversary, Nike presents yet another tear-away look. Beginning in “Pearl White,” the sneaker is almost entirely covered in the signature shade while gray peeks out at the trim and rubber outsole. Its upper includes an all-over star pattern at its base and split branding at the heel and tongue. Beneath the initial fabric layer in “Pearl White,” a gray and navy color combination can be revealed. The dark blue covers the Swooshes, overlays and strap while gray covers the remainder of the look, providing a unique customization opportunity for the pair.

While official release information has yet to surface, expect this new tear-away colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Mid to land on shelves by the end of the year via Nike and select retailers.

The Nike Air Force 1 Mid is back in the news following recently revealed plaid and animal print iterations. The classic sneaker is back with a new construction ripe for personalization.

The model starts with a canvas “Pearl White” upper, complete with tonal topstitched star patterns. When cut, the overlaid fabric reveals a blue and gray colorway beneath done in leather with the former landing on the overlays, strap and Swoosh and the latter serving as the base.

Red rows of stitches divide the sneaker’s tongue tag and heel tab while a gray outsole and subtle navy “AIR” branding complete the look.

The Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Pearl White” has yet to receive an official release date, stay tuned for drop details and preview official imagery above.

Despite debuting in 1994, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid has played an important role in celebrating the 40th anniversary of Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design. Recently, the celebration has welcomed an all-new “Tear-Away” style atop the mid-top proposition.

Clad in an off-white tone, the upcoming sneakers replace traditional leather construction for a canvas material that enables a tear-way finish. Panels across the toe and mid-foot boast star graphics, perhaps a cheeky nod to the BAPE STA that famously drew inspiration from Kilgore’s presidential basketball shoe in the early aughts. Given the “40th Anniversary” text on the tongue label and non-standard branding on the sock-liners, however, it’s more likely that the stars found throughout the Air Force 1 harken back to some detail specific to the design from ’82. Construction underneath the canvas material dons a dark navy finish that works with the “aged” sole unit for a compelling take on an oft-ridiculed version of the AF1.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.

Did they discontinue Air Force 1?

The Air Force 1 was produced in 1982 and discontinued in 1984. It was re-released in 1986 with the modern italic Nike logo with a "Swoosh"revenue on the bottom on the back of the shoe.

How can you tell if white Air Force Ones are fake?

Flaws and bumps in the stitching are the most definitive way to spot fake air force 1's, most commonly on the heel strap and side swoosh. Also, fake AF1s will have taller heels than authentic pairs and often won't have a fully perforated toe box.

How do you make Air Force One stitches white again?

Make a solution with one tablespoon of baking soda, two tablespoons of white vinegar and a cup of water. Use a brush or a cloth to apply the mixture to the shoe and gently scrub away dirt and debris.
