Pork Chops In Ninja FoodiOkay, I admit it. I was a fussy kid that hated pork chops. Then when I met Dominic, he was like, what is wrong with you??? Pork chops are delicious. So, I embraced them and being a chef, he taught me how to cook pork chops the right way. They were juicy, they were tender, and they made me want to eat them again and again. But even when I did, there was those times when I did overcook them because I left them under the grill and forgot about them. They then would be dry and not as good as they should be. Fast forward to our modern world of kitchen gadgets and we have much better options. We can cook pork chops in the Ninja Foodi, in the slow cooker, in the air fryer, in the sous vide and the instant pot. All of these options beep and tell us when our pork is cooked and we don’t forget about it. Plus, pork chops in the kitchen gadgets, is like a zillion times better than baked in the oven. How Do You Cook Pork Chops Without Drying Them Out?To stop your pork chops from drying out, you cook Ninja pork chops. You have a quick cook on each side in the Ninja Foodi and you have moist, never dry pork chops. You can also add breading too, season with herbs or just smother with your favourite marinade or sauce. Why Are My Pork Chops Dry & Tough?Dry and tough pork chops is all about pork chops being either overcooked, cooked on a temperature that is too high, or using a very cheap pork chop. If you follow our air fryer cooking time and temp for pork chops then you will not go wrong. But if you are using a cheap low quality pork chop then its hard in the air fryer to stop it from being tough, and I would recommend the air fryer instead. If you are now wondering how cheap a pork chop, I am talking? I am talking about when there is a butcher in a market, and he has 10 pork chops for what you normally pay for one. Whenever I have bought these, I have always found the pork to be way too tough for the air fryer. A bit like topside vs braising with steak. One is ideal for a quick cook in the air fryer, whilst the other is not. Pork Chops In Ninja Air FryerOf course, when you are cooking pork chops in Ninja Foodi, you can opt for either the air fryer, the pressure cooker, or a combination of the two. After experimenting with our pork chops in the Ninja, we found that the best results were using the air fryer crisp lid and giving them an equal cook time on each side. Though if you prefer a pressure cooker version I recommend you try our instant pot pork chops with mushroom gravy. Ninja Foodi Air Fryer Pork Chops IngredientsPork Chops – The better quality pork chops, the better flavour, the better texture and the better end result. Try not to go too cheap and aim for pork chops from the butchers if you can. Seasonings – I recommend a mix of paprika, oregano, thyme, basil, parsley, salt, and pepper. These are fantastic for a homemade dry rub and most families will have these in their pantry without having to shop for extra ingredients. Extra Virgin Olive Oil – I recommend having a spray bottle that you can load with extra virgin olive oil. Then you can spray your pork chops with it, before adding your seasoning. So much easier than measuring our your oil. Then for the kitchen gadgets that we have used in this Ninja Foodi recipe, it has just been our Ninja Foodi. We have this one and its wonderful for going from the pressure cooker to the air fryer at the flick of a switch or just using the air fryer, like we are doing in this recipe. How Long Does It Take To Cook A Pork Chop In An Air Fryer? The Ninja Foodi pork chops cooking time is JUST 8 minutes. It is also as simple as 4 minutes on each side. What To Serve With Pork Tenderloin? My all time favourite serving suggestion is ninja foodi pork chops and rice. They just belong together like salt belongs with pepper. If you want to do rice I recommend you try our Ninja Foodi rice which has butter and I can not help but reload it onto my dinner plate. Another suggestion is to pair it with air fryer frozen French fries like I had as a 90’s kid and you can cook the fries at the same time. See an example of cooking together in the Ninja with our Ninja Hamburgers which we did with fries. Though for dinner for the kids (as you see in the picture below) we paired it with slimming world frozen chips and slimming world gravy. More Delicious Pork Chops
