Kia rear seat entertainment system 2023 sorento

My wife has a 2019 Kia Sedona with the rear entertainment system. We love it because it has a DVD player and the kids can control the TVs on their own (they are 6 and 3). It also has an HDMI port if we want to use a fire stick and tether off our phones.

I recently placed an order on a 2022 Kia Sorento PHEV. I’m ok with this being our new family car so she can down size if she wants so I added the rear entertainment again.

I guess I just assumed they would be similar, but I saw a review and it doesn’t look like it is. It seems there is no DVD player, the TVs can’t be synced, and you have to use headphones. For those that have this, is that accurate? It does have an HDMI port, but does the Sorento come with an on board hot spot? Or apps on it to steam? We are just trying to figure out what the kids are going to be able to do (my 3 year old can navigate a tablet or phone pretty well but a fire stick will be a struggle)

Thanks in advance!
