At this point your only option is custom.

If you do decide to do that keep us posted as you will be the first that I know of.

That would require a great deal of geometry and cost, prolly why it hasn't been made yet for the masses.
Good luck with your search, until then I'm in the 2-inch club.
And please do let us know if you find anything else out there.

Good luck! 'Nuff said. Been hoping for a 4" for a while, no one wants to do the work to make one... Definitely a custom job.

There are plenty of 4-6 lift kits suspensions online... And with very affordable and high quality materials made..

Popular brands like skyjacker is what maybe you are looking for.

The question was regarding a taller lift kit for a Patriot.

Of course, if you do know of one, feel free to post a link... Somehow, I have a feeling you won't be able to find one though. Like others have said, it is not simply a matter of taller suspension - you would probably still be able to get power to the wheels somehow...

Edit: Oh yeah. One guy did say he modified his lift kit to get 3" of lift. User name Animal. simong, you might want to talk to him and see if he can help you any? Yeah, 3" is not 4...6", but it's still more than the rest of us have.

I can't think how long I've wanted for a larger lift kit. At least 4". I doubt anyone is going to do much with it though. People keep saying a true suspension lift poses engineering issues with AWD designs from the back. IDK if that's true or not, but I don't recall seeing many AWD vehicles with lifts either.

It could be done...

Take a RRO lifted Patriot, and get a second set of strut spacers between the body and the struts.

Then buy or make body spacers that are the same height as the RRO strut spacer. These body spacers could fit between the body and the frame that supports the wheels at the front and rear of the Patriot. The body spacers would essentially be cylinders made of either a metal or a hard rubber/plastic, similar to body mounts on a body on frame truck. You'd have to engineer longer bolts to mount the wheel sub-frame to the body.

I suspect this would be possible, but quite an effort (no more than what I've seen people do to thier CJ though). The engine mounts might be the biggest difficulty. I'm not sure what the benefit would be though, as the suspension travel would still be the same. Sure, more ground clearance, but I can't see putting 33" tires on the 2.4L engine and CVT.

Take a look under your Jeep.

My ex Dodge Ram was all time AWD with 4x4 select. The only company that made a lift for this truck that didn't cause problems was Skyjacker.

You could try gathering interest and contact Skyjacker.

You're talking two different animals a body on frame vehicle can be easily lifted however the unibody of the Patriot is far more complex independent front and rear suspension make things even more difficult as whole assemblies need to be dropped for a height increase. Take a look at a suspension lift kit for a Chevy truck with IFS.

I never said it would be easy. Just possible.

Anything is possible with unlimited resources. Different thing is, how realistic is it to get that higher lift done... And if you mechanical gurus are going to spend time on a mission impossible, could you please rather concentrate on adding a proper transfer case to the Patriot? (See, there's a proper challenge for you!)

A lot of time and money to spend to make it possible...

One problem I see with gathering enough interest is that anything over 2.5" voids the warranty. The big reason I bought my patriot was the lifetime warranty.

Can a Jeep Patriot be lifted?

With the advent of lift kits, a more robust lifted Jeep Patriot is becoming the new normal. Getting a Jeep Patriot lifted is relatively easy, with 2-inch lift kits capable of dramatically improving performance.

How much should a 6 inch lift Cost?

So, how much is a 6 inch lift kit? Generally, lift kits can range anywhere from $400 to well over $5,000, with a 6 inch lift kit typically running at around $1,500 to $2,000.

Is lifting a Jeep worth it?

Lifting your Jeep may not be beneficial for you unless you just simply want that lifted look. Keeping your Jeep stock will allow you to retain the stock features and keep your mileage respectable. So don't worry if lifting your Jeep isn't the right move for you.

What size lift should I put on my Jeep?

If you upgrade your Jeep to have 33-inch tires, a simple 1.5-inch lift will be plenty, while 35-inch tires require at least a 2.5-inch lift and possibly up to a 3.5-inch lift. If you plan to go all the way up to 37-inch tires, you'll need at least a 3.5-inch lift but preferably a 4-inch lift.
