Hi guys,
I am in the market of a new set of tires. I am looking for tires to replace my old 245/50r20 factory jet rims. I want to put the 265/50r20 rim. Would it fit on the factory 20" rims?

Thank you.

That would be a 30.5 inch tall tire. You'd probably have some issues with those tires rubbing. Most guys with lifted KKs here put on 245 75 r16 and if I'm not mistaken, thats around the same height.

They probably would fit on the rims but they won't fit on your jeep

It looks nice. The next thing is the OME 1.5" lift...It's on its way!

That looks pretty sick on those rims, sorta reminds me of a Land Rover with the huge rims

I ended up giving up and just bought 16" steelies when I wanted to upgrade the tires and have those wheels w/ stock tires in my shed, oops

Edit: awful grammar and spelling

I am sure my mileage is really bad already. Full tank I can only go for 280 miles MAX.
I have roof rack, bike rack and other stuff in the truck as well.
I can tell the truck is working a little bit harder since the tires has a better grip now!

I will let you know after the weekend. I am going on a short road trip (within 2 hours drive)

I'm a mpg nut. I'd appreciate the results. 280 isn't bad given your circumstances. How much city and highway do you drive? This tank I just got 356 miles and less than 100 of those miles were city. I got gas and filled up yesterday to reveal 20 m.p.g.

I drive 40% in city and 60% on highways. But I haul things most of the time i drive my Jeep (grill, bikes, camping stuff)
Last time I went camping with 5 people in the Jeep driving up and down hill to upstate NY, I got 290 MPG.

So thats what I want to do with my Jet too. Did it improve the harshness on the bumps when u put the thicker tire? How does she do on the beach now? Did the tires rub at all without the lift? Did u end up licting it? You painted your rims or changed them?

I'm guessing he meant 290 miles on a tank...

Hah, yeah I knew what he meant. I ruined it too when I said MPH instead of MPG... at least I still think I'm funny

His tires rubbed at full lock pre-lift (if I remember correctly). He has the 3" OME lift now, like a lot of us. And I believe the rims are plasti-dipped. I did the same with my Jet wheels but ended up buying new 16" wheels so that I could have more tire choices. Don't regret that decision one bit

That's about what I get. I don't know how you squeak out so many miles from a tank of gas.

It only gets better from here I hope. This is my second tank of gas with my scangauge2 installed

My tips/tricks are besides my mods: keeping mph around where full lock is, looking as far ahead as possible while driving, using the brakes minimally while coasting to stop lights, and avoiding coming to complete stops.

You'd be amazed seeing where I live and how it's impossible to get good mileage. My driveway is on a major highway so that means I have to drive really fast every time I leave my house.

What size tires does a 2012 Jeep Liberty use?

2012 Jeep Liberty Sport Tire Size: P225/75R16.

What is the Jet package on a Jeep Liberty?

From Chrysler's media site, the Jet Limited exterior features include 20-inch polished aluminum wheels; chrome lower fascia opening, body side moldings, license plate brow, and roof rails; blacked-out headlamps; and unique 'Limited Jet' badge.

What is the biggest tire you can put on a Jeep Liberty?

With the currently available lifts, the Jeep Liberty can be fitted with up to 265/75R16 (32"x10. 5") tires. Tires larger than 265/75R16 will require modification of the vehicle and can cause rubbing which will detract from offroadability.
