Fits 265-70-16 (30.6 x 10.4 x 16) tires on OEM wheels with no trimming even with the sway bar disconnected. Tires will periodically contact rear shocks, but most people choose to ignore this. It will clear 265-75-16 (31.6 x 10.43 x 16) on OEM wheels with the sway bar connected, but will require minor trimming (mostly front bumper) or 3" extended front bump stops to run this size with the sway bar disconnected. Short arm kits:
What is a short arm kit? A short arm kit is a suspension system that typically utilizes the factory mounting points on the axles and the chassis for your control arms. These types of kits can use OEM control arms, heavy duty fixed length arms, heavy duty adjustable arms, OR any combination of these options. Short arm kits are the easiest system to install and upgrade, and are very versatile. These systems are best used in 0-4.5” lift range, depending on the vehicle. Long arm kits:
What is a long arm kit? Long arm suspension systems use a chassis mounting system that allows a much longer control arm set to be installed. Why? This allows for a flatter operating angle for and more straight up and down axle movement through the suspension cycle. The benefits include an improved ride comfort than otherwise equally equipped short arm suspension, significantly reduced binding allows more articulation keeping your tires on the ground longer, meaning more traction without the use of traction aides (like limited slip or lockers). Long arm systems often have easier provisions for swapping in different axles. The ROCK-LINK kits are Iron Rock’s answer for a premium long arm system. These systems are the best choice for modern installers since the benefits are “next level” when compared to any short arm systems. These systems are best used in 3-8+” lift range, depending on the vehicle. The installation can vary from simple to difficult depending on the system or vehicle application.

I bought one of these kits awhile back for my 99 WJ. Installation was easy, I didn’t have to modify a bunch of stuff. The price was great for the quality of parts you get. I took my WJ all over the southwest and never had an issue with this kit. If your looking to give you jeep a little boost look no further.

Straight forward, easy to install. Took me about 3 hours

Shipped within a week of ordering. Came with all parts necessary. Parts were of good quality. I bought the shocks from another company, so this review is on everything else. I have had the lift on for about 2 months now and have had no issues! Rides about as smooth as stock.

I would recommend this lift kit to any WJ as a starter. This kit really makes it look like a Jeep as it was supposed to. I bought this from Nick Kolak over on Jeep Forum and I couldn't be more gratified with the amount of help he provided!

absolutly a awesome kit. buy the bilstiens with it if you want a smooth factory ride. i really recomend buying the addco sway bar with it for any kind of daily driving. almost a must have. overall a great product.

Amazing what 3” can do...

I had the 2” BB before I got this kit and it real is a whole different world between the two. The ride is a bit more on the rough side and you definitely hear a bit more creekin but it’s worth it all. Damn good kit thus far. Will eventually go for the 4” long arm.

This is a great product. Have been driving on it for over 8 months with no sagging. Customer service is by far the best. Help me with a DW problem.

not displeased just disapointed... sorta

The people are great the products are good too. I just wish the hydro shocks were not sold with the kit. I am displeased with the ride and I feel the shocks are the culprit. O/E the jeep came with a gas charged shock and the downgrade seems to me to be a weak point in the design. I love the kit and the instructions are way above par. will be recommending it to my friends as long as they upgrade the shocks. BTW Customer service is awesome.
