Bolt Action The pistol is cocked and loaded through a positive and easy to use bolt action system, with pellets loaded directly into the rifled steel barrel which offers excellent accuracy and consistency. This makes the Crosman 2240 a quick and easy pistol to reload, excellent for when that follow up shot can make all the difference. CO2 Power Utilizing a 12g co2 capsule as the propellant, up to 50 shots can be achieved per each capsule. Each capsule is loaded into the chamber below the barrel and tightened up with the cap to pierce the end and release the CO2. This system is very reliable and easy to change and replace for a simple and low maintenance air pistol.
