  The manifold came in on time. It did have some casting spots that had to be ground down, but it fit and solved my exhaust leak. Would advise getting the manifold bolts as they are not in the kit.

  This part was so poorly cast. The internal exhaust pathway had so much excess metal that 10-15% of each exhaust port was blocked. Yes the extra thickness would prevent failure, however it would cause you to ruin your valves, rob horsepower and possibly overheat your engine. I bit the bullet and got the Mopae exhaust manifold.

  My first one fit with zero modifications whatsoever. Bolted up and drove off. It lasted 3 years then cracked. 3 yrs wasn't to bad but the replacement is an absolute pile of trash. I spent 3 hours tonight trying to stop an intake leak that was causing the idle speed to be over 4000. After three hours it is down to 2200 bur still a ways to go. The shared flanges shared with the intake and exhaust are at least 1/8" thicker than the intake flange. I already had all of the exhaust mounted before finding this issue at this point I have cut a washer in half at each flange to pull the intake down tighter. Tomorrow I will add another per flange. This is totally unacceptable and Dorman should pay shop fees for the hours spent fixing their mistakes.

  This part does not fit a 1997 jeep TJ 2.5L engine without some significant grinding. There is not room for the locator pins or the bolts without grinding down the manifold. You also need to cut off the "heat shield" to make it fit. If you have a grinding tool this isn't hard to do, but you really should not have to. So only two stars.
