Why did the laverne tripp family leave tbn

Saw Jeff in the 80´s. I still play his live music today. I wore out the cassette, the CD, and the old iPod I use to run with. I can´t wait to tell him how much his music has touched my life. Lord I pray your blessing and covering over the Fenholt family.

My mother and aunt and me were huge fans!! I met Jeff several times when he came to our church to sing and preach and he was amazing ! I decided to look him up tonite just to see what he is doing and I was so shocked to see he went to be with the Lord two and a half years ago! My mother and aunt have since gone to be with the Lord also but they were in their eighties snd Jeff was my age. Will be praying for his family. There are never words that can be said. But I will pray for his family that God’s grace will continue to be with them.

Rest in peace Jeff I first saw you on TBN with you and your ex-wife Renee and I fell in love with you guys you’re very inspirational I love your music I had a CD Noah cassette tape my friend crushed it and broke it accidentally and I could never find your music to order some but I just don’t know why but I just found out you just passed away today I’m so saddened I’m glad you’re right with the Lord and you’re in peace and you have your wings up there with him with Jesus I’m going to miss you even though I never met you im a great big fan and all my love goes to you ❤❤❤

I listened to the testimony of Jeff and Reeni Fenholt at the New Beginnings Christian Center in Portland Oregon in the 1980s. My condolences to the family.

I met Jeff backstage after a Wednesday evening performance. The stage manager asked what I wanted and I said “ a fellow Buckeye wants to say,Hi!” He came down the steps and asked for me by name. We chatted for about 15 minutes and he said, Man I’m beat after 2 shows today! I’m going back upstairs to change. Tim Rice was across the space and said, “Hey Jeff, can you say,Hi to Carol Channing?” He was ever the gentleman and replied, “I’m just to tired right now, sorry. I’m just finishing talking to my friend from Columbus. He thanked me for coming to see him and I said “ the pleasure was all mine”. I asked him to call when he came to Bexley, but I never heard anything again. I was wondering what had happened in his career and to my shock I
Learn of his passing, sigh! Please accept my deepest condolences!!!

Wow! We just learned of Jeff´s passing - by looking up a memorable - Christmas song! We loved his testimony and his voice- God bless his family... holidays are always difficult - we will be praying for them! Will see him in Heaven- someday- singing with him the praises of our God together!

Just learned of his death today...Really sad...Seen him in Morrison, Il. at some old schoolhouse there He sang some songs and preaching the word...He was just phenomenal...I have never forgotten and will always remember him...Hope to see him someday when it is my time to go home and be with the Lord... And by the way...I just turn 68 in October...

So sorry for your loss my daughter and I met Jeff years ago at harmony in the mountains a Christian concert ..he was so nice ....prayers for all RIP Jeff

God bless Jeff"s family.I was in Az. And saw him at Tommy Barney"s church worship and testify. I had to get up off the pew, turn around and kneel down and just cry and worship Jesus. The anointing was strong and powerful. I watched him and Teenie o TBN Highway to heaven. I was about 23 and ended up in full time ministry all my life. I"m 60 and still going. Thank you Jeff for helping me find my purpose. See you at the throne!!

Jeff loved the Lord with all his heart, mind and soul! I first heard Jeff sing at Madison Square Garden at a Brooklyn Tabernacle Concert in NYC. I was so blessed. From time to time I would look him up. Today I was saddened to hear of his passing.
My condolences to his family.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."
He's singing for the King of kings.

I was I in an airport in Phoenix Arizona and waiting for my sister to arrive. I brought a book from darkness into light by Jeff and read it in its entirety while waiting. It was before 911 and you could wait upstairs where people unboarded the plane. Here walks in the distance my sister and a I start walking towards her I see a man dressed in black, long blonde curly hair that is identical to the man on my book. It was Jeff and his wife Renee. We started talking as my sister walked up and I caught her up with what was happening. I believe that that is just one of those times God had shown me his perfect timing. I was a baby Christian and had went to one of his concerts a year before, read his book and there he was. It was a confirmation to him as well as there I was holding his book in the airport waiting for my sister to arrive. Coincidence... no one will ever convince me of that as that was only one time in many that God has shown me I am in the right place at the right time. RIP Jeff and I will look forward to seeing you again and Renee as well.

No one in heaven or earth could ever sing more beautifuly

I have been a fan for years. Hearing Jeff's testimony, and his beautiful family, and his Voice! My favorite song of his is "Old Rugged Cross". Unbelievable voice and testimony of GOD saving him and then Jeff going on to witness to other 'Rock and rollers' so to speak, what a Miracle in the making. GOD Bless his family! Praise YOU Jesus!

Jeff came to our little Church in Covina Calif. He sang and talked to us like we were his brother and sisters. ..it was a gracious time we all had together. He shared of his separation from his beloved wife and spoke kindly but that he was depressed over it. We know Jeff is with Jesus now. His pain has been removed. The Blood of Jesus has taken care of our Brother Jeff. We will see him again. We have a video of the Service.

He was a great preacher n man of God

I feel bad for family they will miss their husband and father but someday will be reunited he was a wonderful person

This is something. Just finding out today 6/4/21, of his passing. I just felt in my spirit to look Jeff up if he was still alive or not. Which I'm finding out now. Also, because I've been listening to his great anointed songs, these past few days, from a cassette recording that was taped back in 1988. Which I "coincidentally" must of downloaded it, in the same year of his passing. It just came to me also at that time, to start listening to his songs again after so many years that I didn't. Must of been the Holy Spirit. I first seen Jeff and his wife at that time, on TBN back in 1989. Powerful testimony and was greatly blessed. I remember thinking to myself while listening to his powerful testimony, "devil, you lost this one"! Well, I can go on. In closing, I wanted to share, as I been playing these last few days, the song "It's the Anointing" that Jeff sang, I can truly feel Gods Anointing still in that song so powerful that it brings me to tears. I see now why the Lord lead me here. Our loss is heavens gain. You'll be truly missed, brother. May God bless the family and that He continue to comfort them always. My condolences goes out as well.

Jeff was a friend and knew the Lord. He had an amazing voice and kept on fighting the good fight until the end of this life. God bless and know heaven is more then you or anyone has dreamed of. Praised JESUS.

His voice was amazing. I felt honored to know him and appreciate his genuine love for the arts, people, Jesus and life. He is missed very much.

His. Voice. And passion. For. Jesus. Christ. Was. Timeless.

A gorgeous voice. A wonderful testimony of God’s saving grace!! I’ll sing with you in Heaven, Jeff. I sing with your Christmas all year around!!!

i met Jeff God had a word for me to tell him..i wondered how God will i do this..he told me after his show to walk up the stage and knock on his dressing room door and i did and no one stopped me ..he let me in and i gave him the word the Lord said to give..he poured his heart out to me and the word was confirmed..was very friendly he had a fishing pole in his had said these cajuns are about to take me fishing ..was very polite and gentle hearted guy...rest in peace Jeff was just looking you up to see how your ministry was going had no idea you passed...

I didn't know you went to heaven! Lucky you!!

Jeff was very instrumental in my walk with Christ. I loved Jeff.

Jeff loved the Lord n now is in heaven withGod almighty

I met Jeff at a church service in riverside california many years ago. He prayed for me. I could feel the holy spirit so strong. I will always remember that day. Rest In Peace Jeff.

Have been following Jeff since the 1970’s. Was also in a band with my master guitarist twin brotherVince, who passed at age 58.and after our “Rock and Roll days, We both became music teachers, there for,was blown away with not only Jeff’s golden voice but his powerful proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! He reached the unreachable and was given impeccable talents, including an amazing sense of humor that could have only be given by God! Although,we’d never met and only knew him through television and recordings, that voice and that message will never leave my soul! A talent so brilliant and stunning that was too good for this world and in the end,it was only the beginning of his singing for the King of Kings and Lotd of Lords! What a blessing this man was! God bless you all!

I just learned about Jeff from Youtube videos and I was totally touched by the Holy Spirit in him. I did not know Jeff when he was into rock and roll but I praise Jesus that Jeff was saved by my Lord Jesus Christ. I know angels are rejoicing over his soul. Jeff had a beautiful heart for people and had it full of Jesus! When he sang those hymns is the best because God did give Jeff a great talent. I would of liked to hang out with Jeff .He really could preach the truth.

Jeff Fenholt will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember watching TBN years ago when Jeff would sing his song Hosanna, I quickly learned the words and sang right along with him. Here it is some 30 years later and that is still one of my personal Christian favorites, I have his videos in my Favorite Christian Music YouTube folder. His music ministry and testimony touched my life deeply, he helped to change my life from darkness into the beautiful light of the Lord. When my heart is heavy I instictively sing Hosanna and my heart is filled with light and love. Thoroughly enjoyed his recordings of Blessed Assurance and Holy Ground as well. I still love and adore the way he sang Hosanna in English and Spanish, great mix, an all-time favorite. No doubt he helped save souls with his ministries. He went to placed that some of us couldn't...he stepped out in faith and did the Lord's work successfully with his own amazing style, such talent. Our Heavenly Fatherly relied heavily on Jeff and Jeff gave it his all for God's glory. Jeff will always be a Christian Superstar in my book and in Jesus's Lamb's Book of Life. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and daughter Shaye. I will keep them in my prayers.

I enjoyed his singing especially on TBN with Candi Staton. They sang It’s the anointing, I taped it and still have it on beta. That song had the Lord all over it. Well RIP till we all meet in heaven

I seen him sing and tell his testimony in okc at pastor richard hogues church downtown, ohhhh his singing was so godly , god bless his soul and his familys

Christ Peace+ to the Family & thank you for the music and years of work for the lord. Belated condolence. Ford family, MS Gulf Coast

I remember seeing him at the church Word of Faith before they moved and re-named the church Church In the Now

The blessed Love of JESUS!!!!! Thou art worthy to receive GLORY, GLORY. AND HONOR AND PRAISE!!

Jeff is a Mighty man of God, many people got Born Again through his Ministry,
What an amazing voice, such an anointing on your music.

I was fresh out of the Marine Corps in 1991 when a young man i grew up with challenged my relationship with the Lord. My friend gave me Jeff's Hymns cassette because of his rock history as I was into rock music. I was driving with my wife and son to Christmas shop and started listening to Jeff's music. I made it to the 4th song, "Holy Ground" and stopped the car at exit 85 on I77 south and surrendered my life to Jesus and haven't looked back! I Thank You Lord for Jeff Fenholt!!!

I'm just finding out about this terrible loss , my condolences to the family , he was such a great inspiration , his ministry was and still is a great inspiration for my life

You inspired me over the years with your Christian music. R.I.P.

In the 1980’s my husband and I saw Jeff at the Lighthouse Church where he and a football player were holding a revival in Texas. He is greatly missed!♥

I listened to Jeff for many years on TBN. He had an amazing voice. I met him at a little store front church in CO. Where he was ministering. He is definitely singing in the heavenly choir for Jesus now.✝

MISS YOU JEFF GREATER PLACE WITH THE LORD

I'm saddened to have just discovered Jeff's passing. His "Classic Hosanna" is the greatest Christian Rock song ever, imbued with the Holy Spirit. If that was all he contributed to this world, which it was not by a long shot, it would be sufficient. Thank you Jeff. Rest peacefully now.

I just found out that Jeff Fenholt had passed away (almost a year ago!). I was shocked to find out online yesterday I'm sadden...I was just listening to Jeff's CD that I always enjoyed. I was wearing Jeff's Tshirt that had his picture on it that I bought in the 1990's.
I met him when I was working at TBN. He was so nice and when he saw me there, he always smiled at me and gave me a quick hug.
My deepest condolences to his family and his close friends.

My Condolences to his children and former wife. I met him back in the 80's at Happy Church/Orchard Road Christian Center(Encounter Church in Centennial < CO) He ministered with our Christian Leadership Team in the Crow Indian nation with Dr Russell Stands Over Bull Family for a week. They were pretty heavy duty praise and worship times 3-4 hours of music and Jeff Fenholt just pouring himself out and many came to know Jesus at many of those services-I am deeply shocked to hear It's been a few months we'v connected on Facebook and one of my friends told me she thought he'd passed away. I found out and wanted to also pray : Father, I send the word of Peace & Comfort by your Holy Spirit for those who are grieving his loss- and Joy for the children's strength to keep strong and know that many who loved him are going to continue to pray for his kids! I ask this in Jesus name. Amen. Psalm 91 & Jeremiah 29:11 God has great plans for each of his kids!

I am at lost for words. Jeff played a big part of my life. During my senior year in high school I was trapped. I could not trust anyone. I then, went to Bible house and came across his album. His voice filled with the Holy Ghost, blessed me. I would drive to the country side and just listen to him singing and empowered my heart praying to God for deliverance. His songs kept my heart beating for God and kept me rooted in faith during my difficult times in High school. My deepest condolences to his family. Though I have never met you in person, spiritually I have found a wonderful brother in Christ. RIP.

I got to meet you at church, I saw you on tbn and got saved by your teachings

He Blessed me so many years ago with his Annointed Music and Testimony. Brought me to my knees in Tears Many times. Taught me how to truly worship in Spirit. And Reeni taught me how to deal with a hard relationship, believing gor Salvation, and pray over with Annointing oil, all up in his hair...lol
I'm so Sorry for your loss, Reeni and the all the Family. I didnt know he passed until now. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I used to tell his testimony to so many others...with a passion and joy. I cant wait to see him and worship with him up at the throne of our Saviour!! I Love you Reeni!!!
God Bless you All!!

Decided to look Jeff up and I am so sad to learn of his passing..I waited on him and his family for quite awhile in Ontario They had 5 or 6 children at the time and always sat in my station..Ran into him after I moved to Las Vegas at my job at the MGM Grand and was sad to learn he and Renny had divorced ..I have fond memories of all of them and him always calling me Ruth even yrs later at the MGM...Don't know if he did it cause he could never remember my name or what but we would have a good laugh about it !!!! He will be missed for sure

I first saw Jeff on T.B.N. when he first appeared on the network. He sang On Holy Ground and the Anointing fell on me at home. I took my son and daughter to Jeff and Reeni's Anaheim Outreach during the weekend of Fathers Day. Both days. He was my brother in Christ since then. He was born exactly two months in 1950 after me. He was very special in my life. He was my friend on Facebook and I messaged him sometimes. I love his music. Got to see his photos of family and Twinky. So sorry to hear of his passing. Sending my condolences to his family. From Marcy Adams.

I am so sad to hear of Jeff's passing but I'm rejoicing in the fact that he is singing in glory!!!! Heaven gained an angel with an angel's voice! I saw Jeff twice in concert and was slain in the Spirit when he prayed for me. He served the Lord well!

So sad to hear this. Met Jeff when he was a guest singer at The Life Church, Mission Viejo, ...Ca. I was surprised he even knew my name since the church was a good size. His talent and funny stories will be missed. I'm sure the angels were waiting to welcome Jeff home.

You have taken a piece of my heart. God will truly bless you for what you brought to my life and the life of my two boys.

I so enjoyed his love for Christ and how he went after people for Jesus. Jeff it seemed did not want anyone to miss out on receiving Jesus. He now has his reward and is singing in the presence of Almighty God.

Rest in peace brother! You passed on my birthday and I will forever remember the inspiration you gave me in my Christian walk and my appreciation for music. I can only imagine you rockin' the heavens now! Peace and Strength to all his family and closest friends!

Sorry to hear about your loss, may the God of all comfort, comforts the family and friends in this difficult time.

Just wanted to say that Jeff was a blessing to me and I got to see him Paul and Jan laverne Tripp and a few others back in 1991at market square arena in Indianapolis in oh yeah I forgot to say I saw Dwight Thompson as well.

You were someone whom touched my heart the most.

Jeff Fenholt was a committed man of God. I met him when he came to California and I saw him sing and preach. I desired to have the commitment for Jesus Christ that I saw upon his life. He was anointed. His testimony inspired me to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in my life.
May the Lord comfort his family and friends and give them the grace to continue their lives in the strength of the Lord! Precious to the Lord is the death of His saints.

Aloha,
Jeff came to visit our island many, many years ago. His voice (dedicated to our Lord) touched us all. Ephesians 6:12 'For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of the wickedness in high places.' Jeff did this.

I am truly sorry about the passing of your loved one. May God strengthen your family during this time of loss. Deepest sympathies.

You will surely be missed. One thing I'll be doing is listening to your music to remember. I would say in my own opinion the best album you ever were on was Joshua . Surrender. I hope I'll be here and you and heaven singing to God. R.I.P. Jeff fenholt. SANCTUARY.
