Jodar Farms has been raising chickens and pigs for 13 years using free range and pasture based growing methods. By creating habitats for the animals that allow them to partake in natural behaviors; our products have proven to be some of the highest quality when it comes to flavor, freshness and grade. You can find Jodar Farms products on some of the best restaurants' menus in Fort Collins, Boulder and Denver as well as on the tables of our CSA and Online Farm Store customers up and down the front range. Our goal is to raise the animals right, harvest the products with care and deliver the highest quality meats and eggs to our customers with the whole story. These are meat and eggs you can truly trust and feel comfortable feeding to your family!
Offerings
Jodar Farms CSA's
Jodar Farms offers a Winter and Summer CSA membership for our Chicken, Eggs and Pork Sausage. Our CSA members prepay at the beginning of the season, then create custom orders using our Online Farm Store. CSA orders can be picked up at any of our many weekly Front Range pickup locations. Winter CSA season is January-May and our Summer CSA season is June-October.
Hog Orders
We encourage folks to check out our half and whole hog orders when you are ready to stock that freezer up. This has been one of the most popular ways to purchase pork as it is the most economical and satisfying way to get our pork products. Customers choose the way their animal is cut up so you aren't left with random cuts you are unfamiliar with.
Partner products
We have identified and vetted other SUPER HIGH QUALITY producers to partner with, this way we don’t have to try to raise everything. Check out the available Grass Fed Beef, Wild Caught Salmon and other hard-to-source products we offer!

Bulk
Pastured Pork Order Details:
- Pigs are offered as whole or half
They are sold by live weight ($3.10/lb for half and $3/lb for whole)
Processing fees are additional and are paid directly to the butcher
Processing fees include custom cutting and packaging following your specifications
All-natural cures available for bacon
Hogs are processed at Trackside Butcher Shop in Campbellsburg, KY.
- Our Hogs are fed a Certified Organic Diet
Half Hog:
- Approximately 70-75 lbs of meat
- Can easily fit in a small chest freezer (7-8 cu.ft)
Estimated cost of $6.83/lb in the freezer
Approximate retail value of $650 (Your approximate cost is $526.25)
$150 deposit required to order
The price includes us hauling the animal to the processor and educating you on the cut choices available
Once your order is ready you can pick it up at the butcher
Estimates are based on a 275lb animal, weights can differ which will change the estimates
Whole Hog:
- Approximately 140-150 lbs of meat
- Can easily fit in a small chest freezer (7-8 cu.ft)
Estimated cost of $6.55/lb in the freezer
Approximate retail value of $1300 (Your approximate cost is $1011)
$200 deposit required to order

Whats included with your purchase:
Its important to note that each animal is different and will not yield exactly whats listed below, yet this can be used as a general guideline on what to expect for a half hog.
- 10-12lbs of bacon
12-15lbs of lion (center lion chops, tenderlion and sirlion)
10-12lbs of sausage
18-20lbs of ham (can be made into smoked ham steaks or whole hams)
15-18lbs shoulder roast (can be made into large roasts or pork steaks)
5-6lbs spare ribs
2-3 lbs baby back ribs
2-3lbs ham hocks
3-5 lbs soup bones
