Direct Costs are paid to the university bill and include tuition and differential, fees, and room and board for students living on campus.
Indirect Costs are anticipated expenses students may incur. These costs include books and supplies, travel, and miscellaneous personal expenses. Room and board are indirect costs for students living off campus.

[ii] Fees do not include Student Health Insurance, estimated at $1,101/semester, and a Student Assistance Grant of $4/semester. Both are waivable. Students in the Capital Area Scholars (CAP) Honors program will have an additional fee of $700/year.

[iii] Room and Board for on-campus is based on a standard double room and the average meal plan. On-campus Room & Board information (including Meal Plan) is available at Housing.
