This is a great conditioner for curly hair. It is a lovely thick and luxuriously creamy texture. It is a great help for softening, smoothing and detangling hair easily in the shower. It is packed with amazing ingredients including organic shea butter, coconut oil, silk protein and neem oil. It smells absolutely amazing. It contains no silicones, no sulfates, no parabens, no phthalates, no mineral oil or petrolatum. It keeps my thick curly and frizz prone 3C hair hydrated and prevents it from drying out and breaking. It works great used after the matching shampoo or for a co-wash.

Curly hair that doesn't like silicones

I bought this conditioner for my teenage daughter. She has beautiful curly hair and embraces her curls. This thick gorgeous smelling conditioner has left her hair feeling thick and luxurious. I love the scent and it makes the bathroom smell divine. My daughter’s hair is easier to manage and brush. She uses a wide tooth comb only. I was hesitant at paying the price tag but we bought it on sale at Priceline. We bought the matching shampoo. The ingredients seem natural, not all natural but a large percentage; coconut oil, neem oil, hibiscus seed butter, rapeseed, vegetable protein etc.

Thick curly hair

Wow.. where has SheaMoisture been all my life! I got introduced to this by my sister! I got this with the matching Smoothie leave-in cream and Shampoo. I used this to hydrate my hair and followed it with the matching Shampoo, and a leave-in treatment to style it and treat it at the same time. I have Thick Curly Dry Hair. So this beautiful curly hair-friendly conditioner really hydrated my hair so well, I love it, and it didn't allow the Shampoo to really dry my hair! After cleansing my hair I would use the leave-in treatment following it with some serum to really hydrate my hair. and it works really well, it lasted me a long time. It does smell like coconut oil, so if you hate the smell of coconut oil on your hair, I wouldn't recommend this for you, but I'm going through a phase of coconut fragrance obsession so this really was lovely and such good quality for amazing hair.

This is conditioner has helped with the health of my hair and the definition of my hair. My hair use to be dry and snap off but has now started to have some elasticity aswell as make my hair feel thicker. It has a very thick consistancy that absorbs into the hair really easily easily and provides enough slip to detangle my hair easily. It appears to be silicone free too which is great for my hair. The smell is of sweet coconut but is only mild and doesnt linger after washing out. However I am not a huge fan of the packaging i wish it came in a squeeze style tube as i find it can be hard to get out of the bottle even with the pump. Once you get towards the bottom of tbe bottle it is extremely hard to get the conditioner out as you have to smack the bottle upside down on your hand to remove it and even then it takes awhile. The other draw back is I find I need to use alot of this conditioner. It seems to just melt into the hair and disapear. But for these set backs I still think this is an amazing conditioner.

Tips

Use enough product that when you squish the hair some conditioner is coming out onto your hand.

Rich and creamy - that's the best description of this conditioner, in my opinion. Really thick conditioner that smells like sweet coconuts. I am in two minds about the pump bottle design for this. Since it's so thick, the pump does make it easy to dispense the product but this pump in particular seems to have a really narrow opening so even for my short hair, I have to take out two pumps at least. A little goes long way - this rich conditioner does spread really easily and adds lot of nourishment to hair. Easy to wash off, it doesn't leave any greasy residuce but just like the shampoo, this product also seems to be designed for really heavy, prominent, dry curls - while mine are fine and somewhere between wavy and curly so this just weighed them down even more.
