Job Description

Inter Metro Freight, Inc. offers excellent work opportunities to motivated drivers looking to continue to grow with us in all nationwide locations. Heavy Weight is a Respected and Trusted Force that has been serving the Ports of; Savannah, Charleston, New York/New Jersey, Houston and Los Angeles/Long Beach for many years. We specialize in Container Cargo pick up and Deliveries.

We are currently searching for Owner Operators for our terminal in Savannah, GA!

We provide Drivers with Necessary PPE to keep you safe amidst the COVID 19 Pandemic.

We Also Offer:

Paid per practical mile ROUNDTRIP + FSC (we use DOE lower Atlantic region)
Premium pay on heavy containers
Broker drivers welcome
Company owned chassis’ (Are you tired of paying for SSL tires? No worries here!)
Weekly settlements on Friday
Direct deposits ($3.00)
Fleet One fuel cards (no charge to you) $800/day + $50/day for oil/DEF fuel
No forced dispatch, but need all open to run anything on board
No escrow required
Payroll deduct, OCC/ACC $35/week
Referral pay to you for drivers you recruit

Requirements:

Must have valid commercial driver license – CDL-A
Must be 23 years old
Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years (No excessive speeding; 15 miles over legal limit, or erratic lane changes accepted

Physical Requirements:

Able to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
