This new annual event showcases the very best of US high school track and field and will offer strong competition after 3,600 student athletes competed and 5 national records were broken at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Championship held at the New Balance Track and Field Center at The Armory in NYC earlier this month. This year, NBNO will be held at the University of Pennsylvania's historic Franklin Field from June 16 to 19, 2022. The Armory Team, who produced NBNI, will be back to ensure a smooth, exciting experience for all the athletes in attendance at NBNO. Show
With a storied 125-year history of hosting elite track and field, Franklin Field offers an unparalleled experience for high school athletes. What is emerging elite at New Balance Nationals?Emerging Elite vs Championship
The Emerging Elite is for those who have not quite made those standards. The Emerging Elite Division is open to any high school athlete who has made the Emerging Elite standards, whether they be Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors.
What is rising stars in New Balance Nationals?-Rising Stars grades are 7-12. -7th & 8th graders are only permitted to compete in the Championship & Rising Stars divisions if their state allows 7th & 8th graders to compete on their HS team. "The Rising Stars & Freshman divisions both have entry limits per event.
Where is New Balance Nationals Outdoor held?The meet is held at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina on the third weekend in June each year.
