And with all of the surviving cast members lending their voices and the entire game being animated in the style of Terry Gilliam, the authenticity, nostalgia and humor are all beyond satisfactory. It should be noted that it is difficult to get this game running on newer systems and it has been widely determined that it won't run Windows 7; however, I've discovered a workaround. If you have Windows 7 Professional installed on your system (you can upgrade to it very easily from Windows 7 Home Edition), install Windows XP Virtual PC. Once you've configured Virtual PC, insert the game disk... but don't run it because it won't install. Instead, search in the game disk for "grail.exe." Once you've located it, right-click it and create a shortcut on the desktop (reminder, you should be on Windows XP virtual PC.) Right-click again and change the compatibility mode to Windows 95. The game will run now, but I recommend minimizing the Windows XP Virtual Machine window and changing your Windows 7 screen resolution to 640x480 or 800x600 so 'Holy Grail' will run in fullscreen on Virtual PC. The last thing I recommend doing is changing the appearance of XP to "classic" and turning off some of the advanced text features so that you can read the text in the game. Even though you didn't physically install the game data, your save games will still be stored on your hard drive. And that's all there is to it! I hope this helps some of you out there who have almost given up on getting the game to work like I almost had. It sounds like a headache but trust me, it's worth it. So few fans of the movie are even aware of this game's existence and that is really sad because the game is an absolute blast.
