Share with a link
You can create a link to a file or folder in your Dropbox account to share it with others. When you share a file or folder via link, you can choose to give people with that link edit or view-only access. If you share the link through email, WhatsApp, Twitter, instant message, or another third-party app, the recipient sees the name of the file and a thumbnail of the content. When the recipient clicks on the link, the file opens as a preview on dropbox.com, and recipients can comment on it. Notes:
