The FNAF Security Breach release date is confirmed to take place on Thursday 16th December 2021. However, it's worth noting that, due to the time difference between the USA and the UK, British players won't actually be able to access the game until 17th December.
The Christmas holidays are likely to be scary this year, then, and this game should keep us entertained/terrified for quite a few hours while we're all off work.
When is the FNAF Security Breach release time?
The countdown is on! Over in the USA, the FNAF Security Breach release time will occur at 6pm PST on 16th December for American players. That unlock time has been confirmed by the publishers from Steel Wool with an official blog post.
Here in the UK, that means that British players will be able to play FNAF Security Breach from 2am BST in the early hours of 17th November.
How much is the FNAF Security Breach price?
The FNAF Security Breach price appears to be £39.99, judging by the pre-order listing on the GAME retailer's website. Contrastingly, the product pages on the Steam and PlayStation digital storefronts currently only list the option to 'wishlist' the game.
Which consoles and platforms can play FNAF Security Breach?
FNAF Security Breach will be available on PS5, PS4 and PC via Steam. This does beg the question of when exactly it will be available elsewhere.
As for FNAF Security Breach on Xbox, it does seem to be coming but we have no idea when yet. Rumours suggest we could see it in March 2022, but we will keep you posted as we hear more. Same with the Nintendo Switch port that we're hopeful for.
Is FNAF Security Breach VR?
It would appear as though FNAF Security Breach will indeed be playable via PSVR. We are trying to find anything concrete from Sony on this front but all indicators are that we will have a virtual reality experience with it. As soon as we hear official word from PlayStation on the matter we will let you know.

We know when the game is coming out, on PlayStation and PC at least, but what is the story of FNAF Security Breach?
Stuck in Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex, you play as Graham, someone who will soon wish they had chosen to enter a chicken restaurant instead. Gregory will be pursued by Roxy, Chica and Monty and they have the help of S.T.A.F.F. bots to track you, But you do have an ally this time in Freddy, but will that be enough to survive until morning?
Freddy's powers can be recharged and will need to be quite regularly, but you can hop inside him to try and make your way around the Pizzaplex undetected.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is the latest example of why being around animatronics after business hours is no good. Exploring the area and coming out alive is as challenging and scary as ever on PlayStation, but the game has not made its way to Nintendo Switch or Xbox. Can you expect it to eventually release on those platforms?

As of this writing, there has been no official announcement of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach coming to either Xbox or Nintendo Switch. It was released exclusively on consoles for PlayStation and also came to PC in December 2021, with no word on future releases. That being said, we would be very surprised if Security Breach never released on Switch or Xbox.
What often happens in cases like this is that PlayStation will make a deal with a game to exclusively release on their platform for about a year, and then later the title will go to other consoles after that deal expires. Other recent examples of this happening with indie titles were the release of Bugsnax and Fall Guys. Both were announced as coming to Switch and Xbox after extended stays on PlayStation. Additionally, all past Five Nights at Freddy’s games have come to those platforms as well, so there is plenty of history for that to happen again here.
Speaking speculatively, we would guess that Security Breach would come to the other consoles near the end of 2022 at the earliest. That being said, it very easily could have fans waiting until 2023 or potentially 2024. We will update this article if we get more information on a potential release date for Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach on Switch or Xbox.
