3.0 out of 5 stars Not a great fryer
Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2019

Made panko fried shrimp and baked bread so far. Awesome results. It's a convection oven on steroids.Perfect size for 2 peopleUPDATE: Frying was a bit of a disappointment. The drip tray is shallow and difficult to take out with the fat. The food doesn't crisp up as well as our Phillip's fryer. You have to put it under the broiler for a few minutes. I was hoping this would replace my toaster oven and fryer but I will end up buying another Phillip's fryer.

Bought this 3 years ago when we were renovating our kitchen. It’s a great oven-air fryer. We continued to use it even after the renovation was done. We had a large commercial oven installed that heats up the kitchen in the summer. We live in Florida. We use it a lot in the summer and use it often the rest of the year. The main complaint would be it is hard to get clean. It lasted 3 year with probably more than normal use. It finally started to trip the breaker so we just bought another one.

Have not used all features but roasting, low and slow cooking, air frying all seem good. One complaint is Rotisserie. Very difficult to get a whole chicken tied on without some part of chicken rubbing or dragging on side or bottom of unit. May be good for other meats. Haven’t tried it for other than chicken. Gave up on keeping chicken on Spit.

I got her this as a Birthday / Christmas gift. And the first night she used it she fell un live with it. It is just like my Emerill Double Door Except hers has 1 door. But it is so versitile.I love mine and she lives hers too . I have a different brand that burnt out cause grease stopped air flow.Sp heads up keep them clean and you should be good to create whatever you want.

My brother and sister have the same kind and recommended it. I used theirs when visiting and decided to purchase my own. It took a little time to learn features, but then bam! It makes excellent food especially salmon, chicken, veggies, and fresh cut fries. Game changer for healthy cooking.

Really makes cooking much faster. Doesn’t brown as well as I would like but everything else is great.

The Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 has a major flaw! You must unplug it when not in use! Our unit turned on at 2am several days until we found it hot in the mornings because we left it plugged in. A simple power switch is needed in order to easily turn it on/off when not in use so you don't have to keep handling the plug.
- There is "no tech support". All the company does is have you send it in for evaluation. It took a month to have our unit evaluated and then another week to get it replaced.
- When it works, it works well. Good toast, good air fryer, good timer.
But, here are the draw backs:
1-The back lit liquid display is hard to see... the characters are too small.
2- You can easily get burned handling the trays and basket that hold the food. It is easier to get burned with this unit than with conventional toaster oven.
3- Yes, it fits on a kitchen counter, but it takes up too much counter space leaving only 91/2" in front of it..
4- The line cord should have a ground pin on it since it is an appliance near other appliances. Also the plug protrudes straight out forcing you to move the unit 5" away from counter backsplash therefore causing you to lose counter space. It would be easy to plug it into a different outlet but the line cord is just over 36" long and may not reach a different outlet. And, your counter may have other appliances using other outlets.
•• See photo showing how I over came the power switch issue by using an external plug-switch outlet. Now, I can remove the ac power to the unit when not in use so it is not necessary to keep plugging it in and out.
5. It would be a big help if the power plug was a "right-angle plug" and not a straight out plug. That would allow you to plug the unit in closer to the wall.
6- While there seems to be clear instruction for use of the unit, several things are unclear.
For example:
- How do you airfry French fries?
- Should you use parchment paper when cooking in the basket?
- Should you turn over foods like steak or chops when air frying?
- Do you place a pizza onto the pizza rack and let the topping leak through to the bottom?
- There is more, but you can experiment to figure it out.
- Would I buy this airfryer again? Yes, because after learning how to use the unit, and having solved the ac plug in issue it is easier to use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Power Air fryer 360

I really like the Air Fryer but it would be nice to know where to find the basket to buy and this is because when he demonstrates this Air fryer it shows him using 3 of the basket at the same time. In the package it only supplies one of these it would be nice to have the 3 to use at the same time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Emeril Lagasse Air Fryer

Reviewed in Canada on January 22, 2022

I purchased this item from Amazon strictly because it was Amazon. I have had to return an item to Amazon in the past and they were very helpful. My one serious complaint with this item is the price. I paid $ 338 or so Canadian. This same unit was for sale and in stock at Wal-Mart on the same day for $ 249.00 Canadian. The larger XL version could be purchased from W/M for less than I paid for the unit in question. I guess I expected Amazon to be more competitive than it was in this case. I felt that if I unpacked the Wal-Mart unit ( not easy by the way ) and it proved defective/damaged, I would likely have had a real problem with a return to them given the high dollar amount. The unit itself is as advertised, no problem with it, just this nagging feeling that I may have "given away" nearly a hundred dollars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Efficient air fryer, hard to clean internal surfaces.

Reviewed in Canada on January 9, 2020

The unit does the job. The only problem is cleaning internal surfaces.... difficult to clean. Food stains adhere tightly on surfaces.

4.0 out of 5 stars It is important to know that the unit does get hot.

I have not used all of the features yet, but what I have used has been very good. I have used the actifry, toaster, rotisseri, reheat.

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't contain its own heat

Reviewed in Canada on August 28, 2022

I bought this because I wanted a bigger air fryer and one that opened with a tray . This cooks food great but it's not quick This takes 2-3 minutes to heat up to temperature and heats up everything around it as well and gets hot enough to melt anything close. It doesn't have any sort of door seal so lots of heat escapes. I have had this for 2 months now that the power cord is starting to melt
