Chefs table at the mill house

We had the awesome opportunity to attend a Maui Chef’s Table at The Maui Tropical Plantation last Saturday night at the Mill House Restaurant. We dined outside in the open air under an iron roof Maui style with beautiful breezes and perfect temperatures as we sampled each delightful taste of the seven course menu. It was exciting, beautiful, tasty and fun. The most amazing part of the evening was meeting people at our table, watching the prep and sharing the excitement about Jeff Scheer, Maui farms and our farm to table movement. The food was exsquisite, succulent and delicious. I don’t want to give it all away so I’ll share my photo story below.

Is the chefs table a real thing?

A chef's table typically is located in a restaurant kitchen. It is reserved for guests of the chef. Most chef's tables have bar-type seating to save kitchen space. In some restaurants, the service is temporary or seasonal, while other eateries offer the service on a regular basis.

Why was Chef's Table Cancelled?

Organizers hope to bring back Chefs Table in 2023. Citing Gulfport restaurant staff shortages, the annual Chefs Table event in Gulfport canceled its 2022 event.

Did Chef's Table get Cancelled?

Great news, food buddies! 'Chef's Table' is coming for seasons 7 and 8! Food and Wine reported the show's renewal back in May 2019.
