How to set up

Adding your DBS/POSB card to Google Pay takes just a few minutes. Google Pay works on Android™ devices running KitKat® 4.4 or higher. To use Google Pay for in store payments, ensure that your device supports Near Field Communication (NFC) and Host Card Emulation (HCE) functions. You can make in app or online payments with Google Pay even if your device does not have NFC capabilities.

Do ensure you have a Google account signed up as well.

How to get started:

  1. Download Google Pay app on Google Play or check to see if it’s already installed on your phone.
  2. Open the app and add your DBS/POSB Visa and Mastercard® Debit and Credit Cards by following the onscreen instructions. Your card details can be captured automatically with your device camera or by manual entry.
  3. If you already have a DBS/POSB Card added to your Google account, simply add it to Google Pay by confirming a few details.
