Bacon wrapped stuffed pork chops in air fryer

  1. Stir together oil, garlic, and thyme in a small bowl. Rub mixture all over pork. Sprinkle pork all over with salt and pepper. Wrap bacon slices, overlapping slightly, around pork; secure using wooden picks.

  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 10 minutes. Lightly coat fry basket with cooking spray. Add pork to basket, and cook until bacon fat has rendered and a thermometer inserted into thickest portion of pork registers 145°F, 20 to 24 minutes, turning pork halfway through cook time.

  3. Transfer pork to a carving board, and let rest 10 minutes. Remove and discard wooden picks. Slice pork, and serve.

How long and at what temperature do you cook pork chops in an air fryer?

Place in Air Fryer basket making sure the chops don't overlap. Cook on 360 degrees for 14-16 minutes, flipping halfway. Pork chops are done when they have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

How do you cook store bought stuffed pork chops?

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place pork chops on prepared baking sheet and bake, uncovered, for 35 to 60 minutes, or until internal temperature of stuffing reaches 165 degrees.

Should I preheat my air fryer for pork chops?

Yes! You need to preheat the Air Fryer before you place the pork chops inside to cook. This will help give that natural sear (without the skillet) when the pork chops enter the high heat. And it helps keep the meat juicy, while cooking evenly to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

Why are my air fryer pork chops tough?

If your pork chops are tough, it is probably because you overcooked them. My secret trick, as I talked about earlier, is to cook the pork chops to an internal temperature of 140°F, and then take them out of the air fryer basket and let the pork chops rest until the internal temperature hits 145°F.
