Customer Service Agent Interview

The interview process took the whole day. First started with a group ice breaker with over 20 other peers, then moved into smaller ice breaker groups with an Alaska representative. Once we were done, we were called one by one by an Alaska Rep to answer basic interview questions in a conference room with other peers interviewing in the same room. After the interview, we were told if we were hired right on the spot and then had to take a drug test.

Very welcoming . Made me feel very comfortable. Great company description & clear job description. Professional & friendly. We had a group interview, than broke down into smaller groups. After that process who ever passed got one on one interviews. Just be you & believe in yourself.

I applied and within two weeks I received an email stating they wanted an interview with me at a hotel. We checked in accordingly and were seated in one of the banquet rooms of the hotel. They went over a presentation regarding the job that included pay, benefits, and so forth. They then broke you up into groups and asked you two scenario questions and then did a mini group activity that involved presenting it to another group. After, we sat down and waited for them to call us individually to have a one-on-one interview. You are asked to go over your resume and then after they ask about five situational questions. When you are finished, you sit back down and wait for your name to be called. They’ll tell you right away if you got the job or not.

I applied about a month and a half ago I heard back from them last week to do a video interview and a quick phone interview/recap of the job position, salary, benefits, etc. Then it’s a face to face interview with a bunch of other people and they let you know on the spot if you got hired or not. I’m still waiting to hear back on my face to face interview date and hopefully these questions help you as they are the exact questions I got asked in my VI word for word.

First you are emailed a link to complete a video interview via HireVue that runs through a couple questions about the company and your situational responses various customer service examples, then you do a quick phone interview (mostly a vetting to make sure you're interested in applying for the job), where you set up the F2F interview at one of Alaska's hub cities. I chose to fly to Seattle, on my own dime, to schedule my group interview. The group interview is a long day, so arrive early! You first watch a presentation about the company and benefits and then they call you out of the room one-by-one based on the time in which you arrived. I was early, so I was called out in the first couple of applicants, and did an interview with an HR rep. Then you go back into the group setting and wait to be called for your second interview with a company management representative. After that experience, you go back into the room and get called out one-by-one and told whether you're offered the job or not.
