Alessandra • Thu, Sep 07 • 💙 #pcos #endo conceived on 1st round of clomid 🙏🏽 Baby boy 11/15/17🙏🏽Baby girl 11/28/18 🙏🏽 Show Lately I've been seeing a lot of women unsure about the faint lines on these tests. I've been using these test for years during my journey to becoming pregnant. When I finally fell pregnant I was also unsure with the results. Here is a couple of notes about this test and my first faint bfp. Hopefully this can help others 💙 1. These tests are made for women who are testing day of or after missed period. (If you want more clear results sooner get a test made for a week before missed period) 2. Because these tests are made for women who are testing on the day of their missed period the time frame to check these test will be different for those checking at 8-9 dpo. (Example....my period is supposed to show on 14 dpo...I test on 14 dpo and I get a clear positive under 5 min frame...I'm pregnant! ....my period is supposed to start on 14 dpo...I test at 9dpo I get a negative result even at the 10 min max mark the test allows.....I come back 30 min later and I see a faint line....I'm pregnant!) 3. Since your hcg levels at 9dpo are not as high as the test is expecting it'll take a longer time for the strip in the test to pull an accurate result leading to you finding a faint line even hours later. 4. These test will be invalid or show and evap line when the test is completely dried or mostly dried. 5. Evap and Indent lines are different from faint lines! Faint lines will have the same thickness as control line and have a pinkish tint to it. Here is my test from my first faint positive at 11dpo. (All photos are of same exact test just shown at different times) 10 min later.... Nothing...thought it was negative Hours later here's my bfp! I ran to Walmart this same evening and got a frer. It barley showed a second line :( but I kept testing and long behold it was taking less and less time for my positive to show on the .88 Walmart test. Baby dust to all 💙
June 2014 Birth Club I've used these for my past two pregnancies and find them to be great. I've never had a line appear after time frame is up. I took a test last night and tweakers said they saw a line but it was in the wrong spot so test again I tested this morning and the tweaker said indent. But an hour after I took the test a very faint line is showing. Any one else have this happen and get a bfp soob after? comments (47)
Are equate 88 Cent pregnancy tests accurate? But they work just as well. The results of less expensive pregnancy tests will still be up to 99 percent accurate when you use them according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Does Walmart 88 Cent pregnancy test work?Absolutely! Inexpensive options, like the Walmart pregnancy test or Dollar Tree pregnancy test, are just as accurate as their more expensive counterparts. And like with all tests, this is especially true when you are taking a test on or after the day of your missed period. ) these are an especially good option.
Does a faint line on a pregnancy test mean positive?Any positive line, no matter how faint, means your result is pregnant. Levels of hCG in your body will increase over the course of your pregnancy. If you test early, your hCG levels may be still be low and you'll see a faint positive line.
