The Long Island towns of East Meadow, Garden City, Hempstead, Uniondale, and Franklin Place largely make up Central Nassau. As a suburban office node, employees typically drive to work, and the area is easily accessible via the Long Island Expressway, the Meadowbrook Parkway, and both the Northern and Southern State Parkways. For employees traveling from Suffolk County, Manhattan, or Queens, numerous Long Island Rail Road stations service the area.
Office properties are spread out across Central Nassau, with the largest concentration of space located within Garden City and Uniondale. Featured amenities in some of the larger office buildings here include cafeterias, fitness centers, and conference centers. Some notable tenants in Central Nassau include Dreyfus Service Corporation and Merrill Lynch, both of which relocated here in order to take advantage of these quality buildings at affordable price points.
Other demand drivers include attractions such as Nassau Coliseum, Roosevelt Field Shopping Center, and the Gallery at Westbury Plaza. The ability to draw talent from quality universities nearby such as Hofstra and Adelphi is a feature driving tenants to this area.
As Executive Vice President, Mr. Silver is responsible for directing all leasing activity at Treeline's properties, in addition to Tenant Representation. A leading broker with CB Richard Ellis and its predecessor companies before joining Treeline, Mr. Silver has successfully brokered leases with such major companies and institutions as Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, MCI, Reliance Federal Savings Bank, The United States Postal Service, TNT Skypak, Inc., and M&T Bank. He has also distinguished himself as an exclusive landlord agent, working with firms like Strategic Realty Advisors, Crown Properties, and The New England Insurance Company, and has been involved in the purchase and disposition of a wide range of commercial real estate properties. During his tenure at Treeline, he has been responsible for the successful leasing programs that have kept occupancy levels at all Treeline properties at record peaks.
Established in 1985 by real estate veterans with more than 20 years experience, Treeline was different from the beginning. It was founded on turning the status quo upside down, looking beyond the obvious and the easy, to find the innovative in every facet of real estate. Today, the company is renowned for seeing the invisible, for envisioning opportunities where others take a pass. It’s the reason Treeline leads the industry in results-driven creativity and insight. Here, innovation, ingenuity and integrity are driven by a commitment to outwork, out hustle and outthink others in creating something new and valuable for partners and principals. Treeline has invested in all five boroughs and currently owns more than 2-million square feet of office space in the New York Metropolitan area. The company specializes in analyzing an asset, opportunity or issue and finding unexpected solutions – a fact that’s clearly illustrated in its outstanding portfolio of value-enhanced assets.
