Program description	This is a course to meet the need of drivers with a Commercial Driver License (CDL) that have experienced a break in their CDL experience. Many employers with Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) require drivers who have a CDL, but haven't driven for a period of time, to take a 40-hour CDL refresher course. Our course contains:1) Regulations Update: Driver Qualifications; Hours of Service, etc.2) Vehicle Safety Inspection: Pre/Post Trip Inspection update.3) Backing Skills: Straight Backing; Off-Set Angle Backing; 90 Degree Angle Backing 4) On the Road Driving: 10-speed manual transmission with basic CDL maneuvers.Final testing will be measured against the WA State CDL skills standards.

This refresher course also gives additional training on Backing Skills, Docking Skills, Over The Road,Shifting Training or any Customized Training required and specified by a future employer.

CDL-A 50 Hour Refresher Course

This course if for the person that is holding a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with 0 to 6 months recent driving experience requiring additional computer based safety module. This refresher course also gives additional training on Backing Skills, Docking Skills, Over The Road,Shifting Training or any Customized Training required and specified by a future employer.

For pre-trip inspection instruction, we go over the most updated industry process. Unlike tutorial videos you may find online, our training is accurate and contains current practices to prepare you for safe trips. Our teachers are all licensed commercial drivers, so you can trust that their instruction is valuable.

We’ll also run through several driving exercises to give you ample practice. If you feel particularly rusty on any skills, our small class sizes allow us to help you in the areas in which you need the most CDL refresher training.

You'll have more time to learn the things necessary for either passing the CDL test or refreshing your skills for your company. You’ll not only improve your credentials on paper, but also see these results when driving on the road.
