re Hi, I had the same problem with my old YJ. It might not be related to the alarm system. In my Jeep (5-speed) there was a small unit that was mounted on to the tranny that went bad. I don't know if the automatics have the same unit. Also if you burn one bulb, both lights might not work. If you think its alarm related, then it could be a
fuse. They usually wire the alarm wires with the wires for the parking lights. Joined

what you're looking for is actually called the park/neutral safety switch, usually controls the reverse lights as well on most vehicles. honestly not sure where it's located on a jeep with an auto, on cars with an auto it's usually by the shift lever or by the end of the cable going to the tranny. back up light switch It is located on the drivers side right above the pan, it is a round sensor, with three prongs, the connector is round, and pushes over it. Unfortunately if it was disconnected, It wouldn't start. I would take it back to whomever installed the alarm, and find out what got cut/disconnected that shouldn't have.
